The five scales of emotional competence explore fundamental
skills and behavior patterns you have developed over time to respond to
the people, events and circumstances of your life.
Emotional Values and Attitudes are patterns of thinking
and feeling from which your actions flow. These six scales explore your
beliefs - personal principles that guide your actions and frame your life,
and values - those deeply felt ways in which you act consistently with
what you say and in accordance with what is most important in your life
and work.
The scales in this section measure the impact that emotional
intelligence is currently having on one's life. EQ will show up in your
physical, emotional, and psychological health; the quality of your life
overall is affected by EQ.
